A Playful Journey through Islamic Arts at the Louvre

I am Suhail

I turn history into an exciting game for children.

There are many reasons why I want to be an Arabic guide in Paris.

The first is to open the doors of this ancient city, with its museums, artistic history, and antiquities, to families whose children speak no language other than Arabic, so that they can learn about the world and appreciate art through their mother tongue, without any barrier or obstacle.

Secondly, to open a true cultural dialogue between Paris and the Arab world, a dialogue that we build together on knowledge and understanding of the history of art, because true cultural dialogue is what teaches us to understand the other, especially in these circumstances that call for a deeper understanding and higher communication.

Third, because I firmly believe, as I look at our rich heritage and the civilization of our ancestors, that we are capable of reviving this dialogue, just as they did before us when they discussed, debated, and created, becoming bridges between cultures and civilizations.

This is my role, this is the message I carry, and this is the dialogue I dream of opening with you in Paris.

With me, museums are not just static places. On every tour, I make history an entertaining mystery, and I turn antiquities into treasures that children seek to discover. Not only that, but they also become theaters for adventure.
